Taxing Residency and other planning (What an MD Resident needs to know about tax) (February 2017)

This presentation was given to 4th year MD students at Western University Canada in London, ON who are about to enter their MD Residency.  It provides an outline of the tax credits and tax deductions available to MD Residents including detailed information on what expenses are deductible from your MD Resident employment income. 

The presentation also considers whether it is a good idea to buy a house when you enter Residency and also provides other helpful tips and hints on what is needed to move from being an MD Student, into Residency and onto practicing.
